Devlin’s album “Confessional” has the delight of showcasing her wondrous reddish hair on the cover alongside her catchy tunes and charged vocal abilities.
The title track “Confessional” is a must-have for a variety of genre fans, from pop and folk to the distinctly thrilling Northern Irish flavour. It sounds almost anthem like, Devlin (rightly) unashamed of the topics she tackles in the album, including young fame, sexuality, mental health and deadly addiction. No song is lacking and no song is too much like the other – whilst still mastering the ability of knowing this is definitely a Janet Devlin song whilst listening.
I’m 100% sure Devlin will be going only onwards and upwards after this release.
