“Tell me about the dreams you had last night”; the track opens as an ode to both Britpop whilst frequently flitting between indie and rock; or all three.
The crescendos build fantastically, the vocals are delightful and the backing music slides from raucous to smooth, especially in the bridge where the effects on the vocal highlight the free-spirited nature feel of the song “I don’t care”. The song ends almost abruptly, which echoes the sentiments of the song that includes feelings of both desperation and irritation.
