Shadow Palace: New Single, New Music !

 

Speak My Mind Artwork 1Shadow Palace are releasing a single!  “Speak my Mind” produced by Tim G and was recorded at Big Tone Studios in Manchester.

This post- punk indie band from Manchester are also releasing another track B-side “Put out Fire”

The names behind the band are Harry Lavin (Lead vocals and guitar) , Ben Warwick (Lead guitar and backing vocals) , Dan Gaunt (Bass guitar) and Will Brooks on Drums.

Shadow Palace began in 2016 and they like to emphasise key social and philosophical issues within their lyrics.

On the 25th of March they successfully sold out a hometown gig at the Castle Hotel in Manchester, with support from Mint and the A66.

They have also played the Verve Bar in Leeds supporting Judas and AATMA iin Manchester supporting The Claremonts.

They are going to be celebrating their single with a gig at Jimmy’s Bar in Manchester in conjunction with “This Feeling”   Click Here to listen to their New Single Preview!

They have performed on the main stage of Blackthorn Festival alongside the likes of Maximo Park and have made an appearance at Party in The Pines Festival, alongside Cabbage, The Pigeon Detectives and The Tapestry.

They have also received admiration from members of The Happy Mondays! Echo, The Bunnymen and the Inspiral Carpets.

Emerging North have stated” Another massively impressive band who are set to be huge in 2017 after impressing all who came across them in 2016″

 

The band have said “our words and music represent a manifesto against, Suppression of Free Speech , Erosion of the Arts, Sexual Exploitation, Youth Suicide and Uninspired Politics.”

I’m expecting big things from these guys over the next few months and having listened to them I would say they have their own style and I’ve never heard anything quite like it!
