Made in lockdown (true 2020 style, right?), this track is about the age old ritual of missing someone the human race collectively shares, and hoping that maybe, just maybe, the other person can’t stop thinking about you or remembering too.
The Joyful Sadness is a “New Wave/ Post-punk/ Synth oriented project based in Preston, U.K”. These genres definitely shine through with this track. Despite the music video’s simplicity, I think it is captured brilliantly and goes well with the passionate lyrics.
