Jack Gill – One Day
This track is catchy and full of wonderful imagery, “clear skies and warm sunny days”. It creates both a sense of foreboding and wonder with the acoustic strumming complimented by the electric notes. Gill’s voice is tough and powerful, “nearly time for me to leave this ole town”. The sense of cohesiveness implies the genre falls within singer-songwriter / alt / country reigns.
If you’re feeling somewhat freely melancholic this January, “One Day” could be the track for you.
