Clint Boon DJ’d at Manchester Oxfam Superstore in Collaboration with Vintage Trainers event.

The 7th of November the Oxfam Superstore at Manchester Fort hosted a VIP launch for their new collaboration with ‘Vintage Trainers’ with celeb face Clint Boon DJ’ing.

Oxfam is collaborating with family-run business Vintage Trainers to launch an exclusive six-week pop-up at the Oxfam Manchester Superstore, opening Saturday 8th of November after a special VIP preview on Friday 7th of November. The pop-up brings together unique, collectible second-hand trainers — with every purchase helping to fund Oxfam’s work tackling poverty and inequality.

Manchester Oxfam Superstore has been open since last year at Manchester Fort in Cheetham Hill, the shop offers a range of clothing, books, music, homewares, ‘Sourced By Oxfam’ & children’s toys.

Oxfam is a registered charity that works around the world tackling poverty and injustice. Oxfam charity shops are nationwide and sell preloved & new donated items, the two Superstores are much larger versions of the standard nationwide shops, one in Manchester the other based in Oxford.

Vintage Trainers are a company that specialise in offering preloved trainers that have been reconditioned to look ‘as new’ each trainer is carefully restored to its full potential to be reworn again, the company spread awareness of sustainability & environmental impact by reusing existing shoes.

The launch saw a lots of attendees who were shopping the curated clothing offer alongside the vintage trainers including the large variety of Adidas sportswear.

The Vintage trainers were a great success on the night selling several pairs. We saw some brilliant Nike Dunks and Nike S.B as well as rare Adidas & collabs.

Clint Boon played some true Manchester Classics and pulled in such a crowd, what a unique experience to be stood in the Oxfam charity shop in Cheetham Hill listening to Clint Boon & shopping vintage trainers.

What a Super store.
