R&B soloist Laeeqa promotes self love and healing with new single ‘Reflection’.

Manchester based Laeeqa presents us with an eye-opening track here, complete with airy, atmospheric synths and a drum beat to die for. 

“It happened on a Monday, I was sat there peacefully” details Laeeqa, referencing her own mental health challenges. When the pre-chorus kicks in it kind of reminds you of how it is to go into an anxiety spiral and question yourself, “is it me?”

It’s a breath of fresh air to hear an artist sing so openly about mental health struggles that a lot of us can relate to, and I think Laeeqa makes it all the more personable with her lyrics!
