Tom King – No Mans Land
Most of us are having to adapt our normal way of life to more-virtual means. Zoom meetings are more popular than ever before, and musicians are finding their own ways to entertain us by likes of Instagram-gigs and such.
How about remotely directing a music video?
Award-winning director Pedro Romhanyi (Pulp’s Common People, Blur’s Parklife) has remotely directed a video for unsigned British teenage singer/ songwriter Tom King.
“No Man’s Land” is acoustic-heaven, the minimalism does nothing to dampen the talent and fascinating representation of disconnection.
You absolutely need to listen to the track and take in the music video. I assure you that you’ll have a few repeats!
