Alt pop artist, The Glass Child, has released a new single called, ‘Alone With You.’

Reminiscent of early 2000s pop, the song is moody and mysterious, highlighting The Glass Child’s distinct vocals and production stylings. ‘Alone With You’, which premiered via Earmilk, will be featured on The Glass Child’s upcoming album, due out later this year.

Her soft, beautiful voice is angelic and creates a mellow tone. The atmosphere is slow and melodic in its alt poppy nature.
The Glass Child is Charlotte Eriksson – an artist, author, songwriter and founder of the artist collective, Broken Glass Records. Born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, Eriksson left home for London on her own at age 18, and in 2011, released a self-titled EP under the moniker The Glass Child.

Following this, Eriksson’s independently released single, “I Will Lead You Home,” successfully reached #2 on the Swedish iTunes-chart and garnered the attention of major radio stations across Europe including BBC6 (UK), Sveriges Radio (Sweden) and 3FM (Netherlands).

Eriksson has since released seven EPs, three full-length albums and four books of prose and poetry, including her latest release, Everything Changed When I Forgave Myself, in which Eriksson shares her growth and collections of memories spanning from her vagabonding ways, her artistry, her search for a home and mental health, to travel essays on love and loss in the hope that her readers would find a connection and comfort in her words.
