Canadian singer-songwriter Maggie Szabo is on a musical mission to combat social injustice through her pop  anthems.

Szabo has an upcoming EP entitled ‘Worthy’ and the leading single ‘Don’t give up’ has been making  waves due to its thought provoking and inspiring message to transgender youths who may be experiencing rejection or exclusion.

The EP is a true example of how music can tackle societal issues and offer a form of comfort or empowerment for those who are struggling.

The latest anthem is titled ‘Only Human’ where Szabo displays powerful vocals laced with soulful tones, paired with electro-pop soundscapes to create a funky tune drenched in 80s sass.

It is no wonder that this easy listening pop anthem was picked up by Netflix to feature in their original film ‘Sierra Burgess Is A Loser’.

This track exposure is sure to add to her growing fan base, as well as assist with a repeat from high profile coverage from outlets such as Billboard, Yahoo Music and Huffington Post.
